The James-Cedric Cage Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in honor of our late visionary, James-Cage, with a profound mission to uplift and support the most vulnerable children in foster care. Serving the West side of the city of Syracuse, this referral-based foundation is dedicated to providing immediate support and comfort to children aged 2-9, who are abruptly removed from their homes. These moments of sudden transition can be incredibly traumatic, leaving children feeling alone and uncertain. By working with various foster care agencies, and local schools, we seek to ease this emotional strain. We deliver thoughtful care packages filled with items that include, toiletries, comforting blankets, and stuffed animals. These items are carefully selected to provide a sense of security during an unsettling time.
